CONNECT – Promotion of careers for early-career women scientists in STEM through networking and workshops

From: Paul Scherrer Institute PSI The offer supports early-career women scientists in the fields of technology, engineering and mathematics in structured career planning. Companies benefit from workshops and networking formats where women scientists gain insights into career opportunities outside the academic system. Through exchange with role models from industry and administration, new perspectives are opened. The program includes two one-year rounds with six course days each, encouraging participants to pursue a professional career in technical-scientific companies. The goal is to strengthen collaboration between science, industry and the public sector and to increase the proportion of women in leadership positions in the STEM field in the long term.
