Operational check and solutions to promote part-time work for medical staff in hospitals

From: Association of Swiss Assistant and Senior Physicians (vsao) The offer includes an operational check for hospitals to promote part-time work among medical staff. Various institutions are analysed and typologised to develop tailored working time models. These solutions support hospital management in organising their operations so that more economically viable part-time positions are created. The goal is to expand the range of part-time positions, increase acceptance of part-time work, and improve the compatibility of career and family for physicians. The Federal Office for Gender Equality (EBG) supports/supported the project with financial aid.
